Gigs
The best way to enjoy great music is to go and see it live. And nothing beats the experience of seeing your favourite band in a smaller theatre or pub. Luckily we have a few great venues on the South Coast.
Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre regularly hosts good artists. If that is not your scene, you may be more interested in the (in)famous Tea Club Cafe where you can see some excellent alternative (acoustic) concerts in their great back garden.
Always check out the program of the beautiful Milton Theatre One of the best places to see great live music is The Heritage Hotel in Bulli. Great place to enjoy bands, get yourself a table close to stage and enjoy some really good live music.
There are many other hotels and clubs that do live music in the Illawarra/South Coast. Please write us and share your favourite live venues.
10 cc in NOWRA
The pick of 2010 so far. 10CC is playing the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre on Thursday 15 April. Here is one of the best and most original recording bands of the seventies. Their first albums are all brilliant and the band became true world stars with hits like Rubber Bullets, I am not in Love, Wallstreet Shuffle and Mandy Fly Me and many other great songs. After Godley & Creme left the band to follow separate directions, Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart produced more great classic 10CC hits like The Things We Do For Love, Goodmorning Judge and one of their greatest chart successes, Dreadlock Holiday. Now Gouldman and his band come to Australia to play the Byron Bay Festival, but they do a few sideshows in and around Sydney. A great opportunity to hear those fantastic songs and to see Gouldman who is really one of the greatest British songwriters. Not only did he write many of the 10CC songs, but before forming the 10CC with his friends, Gouldman effortlessly wrote strings of brilliant 60s hits for the Yardbirds (For Your Love) , the Hollies (Bus Stop; Look through any window), Jeff Beck, Herman’s Hermits (‘No Milk Today’) and many others. More about 10CC on Domino radio.
TIM FINN IN NOWRA
No doubt the pick of the month. THE ANTHOLOGY TOUR by Tim Finn, an old Domino favourite. The concert promises a journey through the songs of Split Enz, Crowded House, Finn Brothers and his solo work. Alongside the finest moments of his extraordinary 35-year music career, Finn will also play highlights from his latest solo album The Coversation. Tim Finn live in Nowra promises to be the Illawarra concert of the year.

Another interesting gig in the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre is a concert by Richard Clapton on 13 November.
